Pet Cafes in Hyderabad: 10 Places to Go With Your Dog

Two people at a cafe table with a golden retriever sitting beside them, under the words Hyderabad Pet-Friendly Cafes

Hyderabad has a growing set of pet friendly cafes, with the most to choose from in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Gachibowli. This guide lists 10, with the address, phone number and Instagram link for each, followed by a short guide to a calm visit with your dog.

Details come from LBB's Hyderabad pet cafe listing, and we cross-checked names against Siasat and District. We could not confirm anything on the venues' own pages, so hours and phone numbers are as listed by LBB. Policies change, so call before you go. Tap an address to open it in Google Maps.

Quick guide: where to go in Hyderabad

The 10 places

1. The Pet Cafe, Banjara Hills

A cafe built around pets, which also runs a daycare centre. Two sources we read give different road numbers for it, so confirm the exact location by phone before you leave.

2. The Roastery Coffee House, Banjara Hills

Outdoor and indoor seating where your dog can move around comfortably. No pet fee is mentioned in the listings.

3. Le Vantage Cafe Bar, Jubilee Hills

A large, shaded outdoor area with stone flooring, described as roomy enough for pets to settle.

4. PS Cheese Cafe, Jubilee Hills

Staff are reported to bring water bowls for pets without being asked.

5. Sobremesa, Jubilee Hills

A paved outdoor patio with low tables, which makes it easy to keep your dog close.

6. Aaromale, Film Nagar

A breezy patio where dogs can lounge, and staff will fetch water bowls.

7. Cafe De Loco, Gachibowli

Known for space to roam and a pet school for socialising. Listings give two different addresses and two different phone numbers, so we have not printed a number. Check Instagram for the current location and contact details before you go.

8. Roast 24 Seven, Gachibowli

A well laid out outdoor section, and open for long hours.

9. LastHouse By The Lake, Madhapur

An all outdoor cafe near Durgam Cheruvu, which suits dogs that prefer open air.

10. Coffee Cup, Sainikpuri

A Secunderabad cafe that welcomes pets and opens early, handy for a morning outing.

How to plan your visit

  • Call ahead. Confirm that dogs are welcome on the day, and ask which seating is best for you both.
  • Go at quiet hours first. A weekday mid-morning visit is easier for a dog new to cafes than a busy weekend evening.
  • Keep a leash and ID tag on. Even where dogs roam, keep yours leashed until you have seen the space and the other dogs.
  • Carry the basics. A water bowl, a small towel, poop bags and a mat from home so your dog has a familiar place to settle.
  • Read your dog. If your dog pants, hides or pulls away, take a break outside or head home.
  • Be a good guest. Pick up after your dog, keep them off chairs and other tables, and ask before letting them greet strangers.

Planning a day out?

Hyderabad traffic can be slow, so pick cafes in one area and keep the drive short. If your dog is nervous in the car, see our guide to making your pet car friendly.

It varies. Many places welcome dogs mainly outdoors, so ask when you call.

Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills have the most options close together, so they work well for a cafe hop.
